“Blushfire” is all about tenderness and intensity - very much a layered reflection of womanhood, and the quiet fire of motherhood. The soft blush tones meeting the deeper hues, echo the duality of nurturing and resilience.

Each mark and gesture holds space for the unspoken: the utter exhaustion and the incredible joy, the surrender and the strength, the beauty found in the chaos.

This artwork was created while my two sweet boys were asleep. I wanted to capture the emotional landscape of a mother.
